How we choose your match.

Once a week, we look for a single person for each member, someone with whom compatibility is strong in both directions. Here is how, without the jargon.

  1. Layer 1

    Filters, in both directions

    Gender sought, age range, distance, deal-breakers, shared availability, reliability: a pair is set aside if a single test fails, for either person.

  2. Layer 2

    Stated compatibility

    For each question, is the other person’s answer one you would accept, and how much does it matter to you? Your satisfaction and theirs are combined: the score is only high if you are both satisfied.

  3. Layer 3

    What dates teach us

    After each date, your private feedback refines the model. It only starts to count after 200 dates with feedback, gradually, and never for more than half of the score. It does not analyse your photos.

  4. Layer 4

    City-wide pairing

    Rather than your “best profiles”, we look for the fairest set of pairs for the whole city at once. There is a quality threshold: no match is better than a poor one. Nobody waits forever.

  5. Layer 5

    The explanation

    Every match comes with its score and three concrete reasons, from different categories. A sensitive answer (religion, health, orientation…) never appears among the reasons.

What matters

Five markers drawn from research on lasting relationships.

Half of the score comes from your cross-matched answers; the other half from these five markers, weighted as follows:

What never counts

Your subscription, the time you spend in the app, your photos. Paying does not make you more visible.

Your rights

You can ask for a member of our team to review any decision that concerns you, and appeal any sanction.

Your sensitive data

Used only with your explicit consent, encrypted, and never shown among the reasons for a match.
