Putting the date back into dating.
Dating apps have made it easier to start meeting people, and much harder to actually meet. We scroll through faces, keep alive conversations that fade away, and spend whole evenings without ever seeing each other.
Matchmaking agencies, on the other hand, have always known what matters: taking the time to get to know people, introducing one person at a time, and arranging the meeting. But they remain expensive, slow and available to only a few.
Aparté brings the two together: the standards of an agency and the ease of an app. An in-depth questionnaire, one person chosen for you each week, a first date arranged for you, and the conversation only afterwards, if you both want to see each other again.
We open city by city, so that every match is a fair one. And we would rather suggest no match at all than a date that isn’t worth your time.
